Lesson 5
Discover what’s truly important to you
Our values represent the very essence of what’s most important to us in life. They are what make us come alive and feel fulfilled. They inspire our choices and actions every day.
To live a soul satisfying, joyful, and vibrant life requires you saying a resounding yes to fully living and expressing your values, and not wasting your precious time and energy on things that do not fill you up.
If an area in your life is moving in a direction that you’re not happy with, and if you’re not making the progress you know you’re capable of, your values will be the culprit. If you find this to be true, you are in for a fabulous awakening as you re evaluate and prioritize what’s important to you.
I am excited for you to explore your values. This exercise below is profound! I’ve witnessed clients come alive and make incredible changes as their levels of joy and happiness sky rocket. As you explore your inner landscape, you will discover a reconnection to yourself in a profoundly deep and meaningful way.

Top six values
- Health/ fitness/vibrant energy
- Connection to god/guides/ solitude
- Love/friends/family
- Glamour/beauty/color
- Adventure/risk taking
- Accomplishment/integrity
The value that get’s dishonored the most for me is fitness and it’s number one on my list. It conflicts with my value for accomplishment, and I often work and give away the very thing that makes me the happiest. I do enough fitness to get by, yet my body yearns for different types of daily expression.
The change I am making is:
- Each day my fitness comes first. I will schedule the classes and activities that make my heart soar, and will stick to it.
- I will place a boundary around my home office work time. I will set a clear beginning and end to the day.
… I feel so much relief already. I am feeling in alignment with my truth!
The sacred vow I make to myself and the group is:
When my day ends I switch off my computer and phone, and close my day planner and office door.
